How can I watch content on Times Play?

How do I subscribe to Times Play?

1. Download and install the Times Play app on your handheld device - mobile or tablet (Android or iOS)

2. Enter the 'Plans' section located at the bottom of the screen.

3. Choose a convenient subscription plan and make the payment within the app.

4. On successful subscription, use the same account to log in to your Android Mobile/Tablet/TV or iPhone/iPad/Apple TV or Amazon Fire Stick or our website/mobile websites.

5. Now enjoy Times Play seamlessly on the device of your choice!.

Need help with Payment and Order Errors on Times Play?

1. Manage your payment settings on the 'Accounts' screen through 'Account Settings'. Ensure that the entered payment details, including card number, expiration date and security code are accurate.

2. For purchases made using your Apple payment method on iOS or tvOS, confirm that the payment details provided to Apple under your iTunes & App Store settings are up to date. Check your Digital Orders, as a prompt may appear to update payment details.

3. Confirm that your selected payment method supports e-commerce transactions and has sufficient funds available for the intended purchase.

4. Reach out to your card-issuing bank for further assistance.

5. Consider using an alternative payment method if required, to complete the transaction.

Can I stream Times Play content on multiple devices simultaneously?

With a single subscription to Times Play, you can enjoy content across a variety of devices, including Android OS-based devices (Phone, Tablet, TV), Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV), Amazon Fire TV, the website and the mobile web. However, please note that simultaneous streaming is limited to three devices at a time. So, while you have the flexibility to access Times Play on various platforms with a single subscription, only up to three devices can stream the same content simultaneously.

How do I terminate my Times Play subscription?

To cancel your subscription on Times Play, kindly send a cancellation request to appfeedback@timesplay.com. Our team will assist you through the cancellation process.

Can I request a refund for my subscription amount on Times Play?

Refunds for subscription amounts on Times Play are not available once the payment has been made. We do not offer partial or full refunds for cancelled subscriptions. If you have any concerns or issues, please feel free to reach out to us on appfeedback@timesplay.com.

Is it possible to download content from Times Play?

Times Play employs robust security measures, including Digital Rights Management (DRM) and Geo-Filtering, to ensure the protection of all content. As a result, downloading content to your devices is not supported. In addition to enjoying the content directly on the app, you can also 'Add to Favorites' for easy access.

What to do if I encounter playback issues or see error codes while streaming content on Times Play?

1. Close the app and restart the device.

2. Ensure that your device or web browser is updated to the latest version.

3. Confirm that you're not simultaneously using the same Times Play account on more than three devices, as streaming is limited to three devices concurrently.

4. Check if any external device connected to your TV or display is using an HDMI cable;

Times Play streams do not support HDMI-based outputs. Instead, download and/or access the respective app (TV, mobile, or web).

5. Pause other Internet activities, especially if multiple devices are using the network simultaneously.

6. Verify your Internet connection and consider refreshing the connection or restarting the router.

7. If you can connect to the Internet on other devices, update your connected device's 'DNS settings'. Refer to your device's manufacturer for further details.

8. Deactivate any VPN or proxy servers that may be affecting your connection.

9. For Chrome web browser updates, enter chrome://settings/help in the address bar to trigger an automatic update check. Alternatively, click on the 'Menu' icon, select 'Help' and then click on 'About Google Chrome'.

10. For Firefox web browser updates, click on the 'Menu' icon, select 'Help' and then click on 'About Firefox' to initiate the update.

Problems with 'Sign In' or 'Sign Out' on Times Play, what should I do?

1. Ensure that you are using the correct account details for the Times Play account you intend to access. If you have forgotten your password, click on 'Forgot your password?' on the 'Sign-in' page to initiate the password reset process.

2. Retry the 'Sign-in' process as temporary connection issues may be causing the problem.

3. If you are experiencing difficulties signing out, go to 'Account' > 'Account Settings' > 'Active Screens & Devices' > 'Active Devices'. From there, 'Log Out' from all devices except for three to resolve any 'Sign-out' issues.

Can I access Times Play while traveling abroad?

Certainly! You can watch Times Play content while traveling. However, it's important to note that due to content-based restrictions, the complete range of restriction-free content is accessible for viewing within India only. While you can enjoy Times Play while travelling, the availability of content will vary based on your location outside of India.
